far as pricing, I would say that Toast falls in the mid-range, not the most expensive videographer out there, but also not the cheapest you can find. We found that this was the perfect solution for us. In order to be able to offer this price, I would say that Toast is a little bit less personalized. Meaning that you won’t meet your actual videographer until the day of your wedding. You complete a thorough questionnaire that details what you are looking for in your film, specific shots that you want to see in your film, your style, etc. And then you are matched with somebody that they think will execute your vision. We didn’t have any problems with this process and everything went very smoothly from our perspective! Our videographer was professional and nice to work with, and when we received our highlight film, you are able to provide any edits that you may have, so that the end result is exactly what you want. Overall, we had a great experience with Toast and I would recommend Toast to any couples looking for a wedding videographer.

, sounds and music to tell your wedding story- how would this come out and would we be able to change things if we don’t like it? Toast doesn’t have you meet your person shooting footage until the day of wedding, which was a bit nerve-wracking. However the person they sent to shoot and collect footage was excellent. He was funny, personable, and made us feel at ease. He did not conflict with photographer at all, and would ask her if she was getting the shots she needed throughout the process. He went above and beyond to ensure he collected quality sound bites of the readings (our venue A/V did not work the best for him), and as we discovered, he took real excellent shots of the whole event. He also worked with us, as we’d give an idea occasionally for a shot and he’d make it work. Then the video. We ordered a highlight video (which are what are shown on their site) and a documentary cut, which was described as the raw footage of the event. The documentary cut was well done, highlighting significant events of the wedding day (first look, ceremony, reception entrance, and toasts during the reception). All footage was uncut, but would still transition between multiple shots to, say, collect our reactions to a joke in a toast, or catch me tear up during our vows. It was not simply a collection of clips all out of context, and we appreciated that. The first cut of the highlight video had a few elements we didn’t like in it. Their client-end video viewer used by Toast allowed us to easily put in comments on where and what we would like changed, even so far as to move entire segments around. We went back and forth on this with Toast a few times until we got a video we absolutely loved. Toast was happy to oblige our “hands-on” nature and really gave us something we will enjoy for many years to come. Including all the editing back and forth, we were able to watch and send the final video to family about 3 months post wedding. I think our personal edit easily consumed about a month or more of that time. All in all, I highly recommend Toast. Before making this review, I had already recommended them to other couples we are getting married soon in the area, and will continue to do so going forward.

We had an awesome videographer that took time and care into making our wedding video beautiful. When it came time to edit, again, our experience remained consistent! It took a few tries to get on the same page for our vision. But, the editors at Toast worked tirelessly to make it all come together beautifully. Our experience the day of our wedding was very positive. Our videographer showed up on time, was very polite, was professional and was respectful of our time. After the wedding they were extremely patient with us through the editing process. We were blown away by the finished product. They so perfectly captured not only the essence of our wedding but also the essence of our relationship. When we share the video with folks who weren't at the wedding, they always remark that they feel as if they were there.
